The panel :

  • Reuben Brambleby, Imperial College

Imperial College London Reuben Brambleby is a chartered structural engineer who practised with Adams Kara Taylor (AKT) for 13 years.  While at AKT he worked on a wide range of projects including the Blizard Building QMUL, the British Pavilion at the Shanghai Expo and the re-cladding of Birmingham New Street Station.  Reuben has worked as a visiting lecturer at KTH and Umea School of Architecture in Sweden and has acted as a consultant for Diploma Students at the Architectural Association.  He is currently studying for a PhD at Imperial College, investigating the performance of steel to composite joints.

  • Margaret Cooke, Integral Engineering Design

Margaret is a Director at Integral Engineering Design – a structural and civil engineering consultancy based in  London and Bath.  She is a Conservation Accredited Engineer and her clients include Wells Cathedral and the National Trust.  Her favourite projects are those which are transformative for the client and the communities they serve
