I dream of things that never were and ask why not”. Engineering is the most creative of careers I could have possibly imagined\, in fact which I couldn’t have imagined. There are no boundaries\, only those defined by nature itself.’ \nNeil Thomas \nAwared annually by the IABSE British Group\, the Milne Medal is awarded to an individual for excellence in structural design. \nWe are delighted to award the 2019 Milne Medal to Neil Thomas of Atelier One. \nJoin Neil and the IABSE British Group on Tuesday 12th November at the IStructE for the 2019 Milne Medal Lecture\, titled ‘Why Not?’. \nThe lecture will be followed by the Milne Dinner\, to be held at the Modern Pantry Clerkenwell. \nTickets for both the lecture and dinner are available here. \n
