DESCRIPTION:Future of Design Conference Manchester 2020 (FREE ONLINE EVENT)\n \nAs you are aware due to the current virus outbreak\, the IABSE Future of Design Manchester 2020 will be held online tomorrow Friday 17th April 2020 and will be entirely FREE. Join us between 12:25-14:30 (using link below) to learn about the latest engineering developments with presentations from: \n\nWilliam Matthews (William Matthews Associates) – Tintagel Castle Footbridge\nAlexandra Gkoutzidou (The University of Manchester)– Novel Materials in Construction and Environmental Sustainability focusing on Graphene\nCatherine Ramsden (Useful Studio)– Social Value of Infrastructure\n\nThere will be opportunity to ask questions in a Q&A session\, and the presentations will be followed by a discussion on the future of design and work in a post COVID-19 environment. \nWith opening and closing statements by David Knight (Cake Industries) \nPlease follow the below link to register for the event – (ideally use Google Chrome and your personal device) \n  \nWEBINAR LINK TO REGISTER – Limited to 250 people \n  \nFAQs; \nAudio / Video Issues \nTechnical Requirements for Livestorm \nIssues logging in \nIf you need to dial into the webinar \n  \nOther Information; \nTo those who have bought tickets to the conference already\, we would like to offer to defer your ticket until the postponed event in spring 2021.
