SUMMARY:Future of Design Manchester 2024
DESCRIPTION:The IABSE British Group will be holding the latest iteration of the “Future of Design” conference on the 9th April 2024 at Manchester Metropolitan University. \nThe conference aims to promote forward-thinking design and inspire the next generation of designers in the field of engineering and architecture. We are happy to bring to you a full day catered event with a variety of keynote speakers from around the field covering a wide range of topics. Speakers include Eoin Casserly (VOLUTA)\, Clotilde Robin (Expedition)\, Trish Johnson (Clifton Suspension Bridge) and more to be announced. There will be networking and Q&A opportunities throughout the day. \nWe will also be holding Young Engineer’s Design and Paper competitions of which the finalists will be able to present their work during the event. Details of these competitions can be found below. We invite and encourage all young designers to participate in the competition. \nThere will be a chance for further networking and socialising after the event as well.
