SUMMARY:Study Tour - Belgium 2022
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce the next IABSE British Study Tour to Belgium from Thursday\, 6th to Sunday\, 9th October 2022. We will spend a long weekend visiting some of the most distinguished and multi-award winning buildings and bridges in the country. The itinerary is being developed but we currently plan to visit: \n\nSmedenpoort Footbridges (Ney+Partner)\nKnokke-Heist Footbridge (Ney+Partner)\nPort House\, Antwerp (Zaha Hadid)\nLiege-Guillemins Station (Calatrava)\nKing Baudouin (Heysel) Stadium\, Brussels\n\nWe will be based in Brussels\, with travel planned via Eurostar and then coach. We are currently inviting expressions of interest for the trip; please visit the link below to let us know if you are interested. Further details will be announced in due course. \nNote that you can bring guests to the trip; they will also need to register. IABSE members\, and especially young members (<35)\, will benefit from a discounted registration fee. The registration fee will cover travel inside Belgium (coach or train fares)\, ancillary costs (entry fees etc) and one evening meal.
