SUMMARY:Future of Design 2013
DESCRIPTION:[responsive][/responsive] We are delighted to welcome you to Future of Design 2013\, a conference for young designers aimed at promoting design and inspiring future generations. \nThe conference is organised by International Association of Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE) British Group and the Ken Kemp Bequest Fund in collaboration with University College London (UCL) and the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE). This is the fifth Young Engineers’ Conference organised by IABSE after Cambridge in 2001 and 2003\, and London in 2006 and 2012. \nThis event is a unique platform for networking and to be inspired by the leading figures in the design world. It will include presentations on current cutting edge designs as well as discussions about the future challenges of our profession. \nYoung designers (35 years or less) are encouraged to submit a one-page paper of their innovative work for presentation during the conference. A prize for best presentation will be awarded to the young participants.
