This panel discussion pulls together some participants from the recent IABSE Henderson Colloquium to discuss the topic of “Moving Bridges”, outlining the challenges and difficulties of designing, constructing, operating, and maintaining these structures. Based on the discussion had at the colloquium, this event (and the accompanying short report) shares the areas for further research around moving bridges and identifies common areas of necessary development.
