Future of Design North 2018
Introduction
The International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE) British Group are pleased to announce that the Future of Design Conference North 2018 will be held for the first time in Scotland at the University of Edinburgh Business School, on Friday 20th April 2018.
The conference will allow young professionals and students to interact with some of the big names in engineering, and gain an insight into challenging projects, some of which are local. There will also be a competition for young designers to enter, with those shortlisted presenting at the conference.
The conference will be rounded off by an evening event at Dynamic Earth, where attendees will be able to network over dinner, and while exploring the museums’ exhibits.

The University of Edinburgh Business School is a 15-20 minute walk from Waverley Train Station, which serves most major destinations. The Business School is also a 25 minute walk from Edinburgh Bus Station.
Local bus routes 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 29, 30, 31, 33, 37, 47, 49, 51, 52, X62, x70 and X95 all stop in St. Patrick Square which is a 5 minute walk he University of Edinburgh Business School.
