Following on from previous distinguished speakers including Mike Shlaich, Hanif Kara and Sir John Armitt, this year’s Annual Lecture is to be given by Simon Wright. Simon is Crossrail’s Programme Director, having previously worked for the Olympic Delivery Authority and Network Rail. Speaking on the topic of ‘digital railways’ the talk promises to be an interesting insight into what is currently Europe’s Largest Construction project.
This year’s Annual Dinner is taking place at the Modern Pantry in Clerkenwell, just a short walk from the lecture at the IStructE Headquarters, where we have a private dinning room booked for our 3 course meal with wine. The dinner is always a great evening- giving everyone the opportunity to socialise and network in a relaxed environment.
