The International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE) British Group are delighted to announce that the 12th Future of Design Conference London 2018 will be held in the Skempton Building at the South Kensington Campus of the Imperial College London on the 19th September 2018.

Future of Design London 2018 is the premiere conference for young design professionals and students to engage with leading lights in engineering. Presentations, talks and workshops during the day conference at the Imperial College London will provide a unique platform to engage with influential and inspiring individuals on the design challenges that we face in the future.

We are excited to call all young engineers, architects and students (under 35) to take part in two different Young Designers Competitions to showcase their creativity and innovative work/research:

  • Design Competition – to enter a design solution for the challenge presented in the brief.
  • Paper Competition – to submit a one-page paper of your innovative work or research.

Shortlisted candidates from the paper competition will get a unique chance to present their work at the conference. Prizes will be awarded to the winning entry from both competitions.
