[separator headline=”h2″ title=”Angel Ruiz del Arbol Triguero | COWI“]

The dedicated and enthusiastic Spaniard with a deep passion for the design of structures. The base of his interests in bridge design are related with the aesthetic properties, the user experience and the perception of the bridge in its environment. When he is not designing bridges, or exloring London, he enjoys travelling back to his home town in the north of Spain to soak up the sun and catch up with old friends.

[separator headline=”h2″ title=”Charlotte Murphy | Arup“]

London based structural engineer who is a self-confessed bridge geek with enthusiasm to follow her designs through to construction. Charlotte loves a good challenge, both engineering related and  life in general. If you can’t find her in the office she is probably running a marathon, trekking up a mountain or on a cycling adventure.

[separator headline=”h2″ title=”Chris Self | BuroHappold“]

Keen bridge engineer with a passion for computational engineering which facilitates elegant design. Most commonly found carving the slopes skiing, jamming on his guitar or bashing on his keyboard in despair when debugging code

[separator headline=”h2″ title=”Margherita Perona | COWI“]

The Italian who came to London for what was supposed to be a short Erasmus but loved it so much she’s still here three years later. Driven here by her passion for bridges, Margherita is making the most of the London life by picking up more foreign languages and giving some new sports a go. She most enjoys bouldering but is still not totally convinced about cricket…

[separator headline=”h2″ title=”Ryan Dewar | COWI“]

The Aussie with a passion for big bridges and a knack for finding ways to work smarter, not harder. If he’s not punching out spreadsheets, you’ll probably find him down at the bouldering gym or chasing the summer sunshine rocking his favourite hawaiian shirt.

[separator headline=”h2″ title=”Solene Fercocq | Arup“]

Solene grew up in Barcelona, but since she prefers engineering to sunshine and beaches she now lives in London designing awesome bridges. When the engineering hat comes off, the hiking boots come on – she loves to travel and discover new landscapes, cultures and food.
